*My sister went to Pebblebrook and was in CCCEPA.  She is now studying musical theatre at the University of Oklahoma.  Many of the students who are in the performing arts departments at PHS go on to study musical theatre in college and then go on to Broadway!  The dances in this show were choreographed by one of the CCCEPA alumni that has been on tour with High School Musical and was the understudy for Troy, the lead character.  I will be at one of the performances this weekend with my family.  Please come out and see it!  It will be AWESOME!

vhts3.gif - 0.9 KFOR SALE:  There is a rope swing, similar to the one in our classroom but without the bar, for sale by a staff member here at Still.  If you are interested please let me know and I will tell you the asking price.

New in November

PARENTS PLEASE TAKE NOTE:

**Instructional time ends at 2:00.  If you are picking up your child before 2:00 please wait in the office or at the classroom door as we are finishing up communication books and packing, an important learning time for you child.

REMINDER OF NEW RULES FROM THE OFFICE:

All visitors MUST sign in at the front office at all times of the day, even mornings and afternoons.  After 7:50 you must sign in your child in the attendance office.

If you need to check out your child before 2:00 you must send in a written, signed, and dated note and check them out by 1:45 in the office.  Due to the high amount of traffic on the school campus right before dismissal no student can be checked out after 1:45.  Again, please sign yourself in if you plan to come to the classroom to pick them up.

* Don't forget to sign out.

Our CBI for November will be rescheduled due to a bus no-show.

Please check out Student Involvement page for ideas of how to include your child in at home and community outings.

We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast on November 20th!  All parents are invited to come!  I will be sending home a sign up page for Thanksgiving meal items.

More to come! Have a great long weekend!

As you probably noticed, our class wrote letters to soldiers overseas.  This was part of a campaign led by the radio station Q100.5 called "Q100's Big Thank You".  The goal is to get a thank you letter into every soldier's hands stationed overseas this Thanksgiving.  There are 375,000 soldiers that are stationed all over the world and Atlanta is the only state to start a campaign so big.  Our class used Writing with Symbols and Intellikeys to write their letters.  I included the school address so maybe we will get a letter in return.

Have a great week!
