                       Parents:

We hope that you all had a Happy Thanksgiving! As you see, we don't have a lot of pictures since then. We had a new student start in our class. His name is Christopher. The kids welcomed their new friend to school. We celebrated Abby's 4th birthday. Her mom brought cupcakes and cookies which we all enjoyed. We are now getting ready for the holidays. We are talking about a few different ways that people can celebrate the holidays. Everyone in our class celebrates Christmas, so we decorated a small Christmas Tree. Hopefully, Santa will be putting presents under there before the holiday break! Our holiday party will be on Wednesday, December 17th. We will take a lot of pictures from the party and will post them on the blog before the holiday break.

                                   Parents: Here are more pictures from September and October. There are many pictures of the kids WII boxing. Ms. Anna brought the WII in when we were talking about the letter x since boxing has an x in it and the motion of boxing was our symbol for x. We celebrated Kamarr's birthday in September and he brought cupkakes and goodie bags to share with all the kids. It was a lot of fun! :) As a culminating activity for apples, we had different centers with different apple things that we tasted. The kids loved tasting the different aplle flavored things and the teachers especially loved the caramel apples. Now that we are talking about fall, we decided to take the kids on a nature walk on Wednesday when it was raining outside. We made sure that we were all under umbrellas. We showed the kids how the leaves are changing color and falling off the trees. The kids also noticed how it was a little bit chilly outside - another sign that fall is here. The kids are doing a great job with learning their theme vocabulary and their letters and sounds. Keep up the good work at home.

Welcome back to a new school year!Sorry that it's taken me such a long time to do our first blog, but things have been very busy. As you can see by the pictures that the kids are happy to be back to school with all their friends! And we just love our new school and all the people that work here. Our theme this first month has been "All About Me" which included learning all the different places in our new school, naming our body parts, taking care of our bodies, discussing our families and friends, and our 5 senses. The kids had a great time talking about their families and sharing  their pictures.                                                                                                                         We are very lucky this year to have another pre-k class here at the school with us. The teachers in that classroom are Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Teresa, They have 4 boys in their class whose names are David, Jason, Juan, and Abimael. We play outside and do play centers with them every day. The kids have a wonderful time playing together!  Please remember that you can reach me anytime during the day on my cell phone or you can reach me at home at night.
