2 More Weeks!
Hello Everyone!
We are at the end of a great school year! This has truly been a fabulous class, and I know they will leave with fond memories of Still Elementary. I hope everyone stays in touch and comes back to visit--I will miss you all!!
Yes, there is still homework!

Fifth Grade Awards Day is May 21 at West Cobb Church. Everyone is invited, and remember there is a reception following the awards. We are dressing up for this dignified and special occassion--please, no shorts. Boys should wear collared shirts. Children can bring a change of clothes for after the program.
Last day of School! We are playing "Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?" against Mrs. Siegel's class. Parents, you can play , too! Come show what you know, or .... Time TBA.
The Fifth Grade Walk will begin about 1:50. It is a tear-jerker, so bring your tissues and video cameras.
Please check out the Monday folder for Writing Assessment Scores and information about placement for next year. Please send in signature folders back by Wednesday. There will not be a folder next week. Last day for backpacks is next Thursday. Children should not bring anything to school on the last day.
And last, but not least, please send in a self-addressed legal sized envelope with two stamps on it for the end-of-year report card. Whew! I think that's it! I'm not sure if there will be another blog entry. If not, please know that I have enjoyed this class soooo much. Thank you for the great parental support and for having such a great group of youngsters. They were a teacher's dream.
Sincerely,
Elena Kay
