MRS. RADEMACHER'S WEEK in the NEWS January 30, 2012
Reading: We are working on George Washington’s Socks this week. Hopefully, we will finish by the middle of next week. We began Lesson 8 in Wordly Wise.
Math: We will focus on decimals and how they relate to fractions this week.
Spelling: We moved to Sort 20. The test is tomorrow.
Science/Social Studies: We are working on a planet project in Tech class and continuing with planets in class. Mrs. Jones gave us a great bibliography class today. The children have guidelines for their constellation project that is due this Friday.
Information:
Our Reading Bowl Team placed fourth in competition last Saturday. They did a super job.
Pennies for Patients has begun at our school. The class that collects the most money will receive a Pajama/Movie Day. The students were given information on it last week and a box to collect money in.
Family Math Night is coming up this Thursday, February 2. It is a really fun night. SOOO save up your grocery shopping and come see us.
