Wow!! We have had a fantastic start to the year! We will continue reviewing classroom procedures and expectations this week, as well as pre-assessing to see what your babies know! Students will bring home their red Homework folder every night! Please remember to place any important notes, or changes of transportation in your child’s clear pocket in their red folder, labeled “Notes. The students have been taught to check their “Notes” pocket, and their “Return to School” pocket in their red Homework Folder every morning. Please be sure to review and take out the papers in the “Keep at Home” pocket every evening!
Last week, some students did not have a snack, or were unsure where their snack was. Please let your child know where their snack will be each day, or label it “Snack” if needed. The students have been taught to unpack their snack every morning, and place it in their cubby for easy access. Unfortunately, I do not have extra snacks to give students who forget to bring one.
This Thursday, students will bring home their “Weekly Work Folder”. This folder will come home every Thursday. It will contain important information from the office, your child’s weekly behavior sheet, their graded papers, and the Bi-Weekly Class Newsletter . *Please don’t forget to sign your child’s Weekly Behavior Sheet every Thursday evening, and take out any papers in the “Keep at Home” pocket.
